Three air ambulance crew members die in Oklahoma helicopter crash

Three members of an air ambulance crew tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Oklahoma over the weekend. The helicopter, operated by Air Evac Lifeteam, went down near Weatherford, Oklahoma after communication was lost with the crew just before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. The crew was returning to their base in Weatherford, after transporting a patient to Oklahoma City, when the crash occurred.

The names of the victims have not been released and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board. Air Evac teams from nearby locations assisted in the search for the crew members following the crash. The crash serves as a devastating reminder of the risks that first responders and medical personnel take every day in their mission to save lives.

The loss of the three crew members has left the entire community in mourning, and our thoughts are with the families of the victims and the entire Air Evac Lifeteam organization during this difficult time.
