Rumors: Thinner Bezels Expected on New iPad Pro Compared to Past Models

The next-generation iPad Pro models are rumored to have thinner bezels around the screen, with a leaker known as “Instant Digital” sharing details on Chinese social media platform Weibo. These new models are expected to feature bezels that are around 10% to 15% thinner than previous iPad Pro models released between 2018 and 2022. Other anticipated features include Apple’s latest M3 chip, a thinner enclosure, a landscape front camera, rear camera design tweaks, and potentially MagSafe wireless charging. New accessories like an updated Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil are also expected to be released alongside the new iPad Pro models.

“Instant Digital” has a strong track record with Apple rumors, accurately predicting features like frosted rear glass on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus and a yellow color option for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. However, there was one incorrect prediction regarding a hardware update for the iPad Air last year. The new iPad Pro models are rumored to be announced in late March or early April, with a potential announcement date of Tuesday, March 26. Apple is also expected to update the 10.9-inch iPad Air and release an all-new 12.9-inch iPad Air alongside the new iPad Pro models.

According to Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, the new iPad Pro models with OLED displays are likely to begin shipping in April. New features and improvements in the upcoming iPad Pro models are generating excitement among fans and users as they anticipate the release of these highly anticipated devices. With new design elements, powerful hardware, and potential accessory updates, Apple’s upcoming iPad lineup promises to deliver an enhanced user experience for those looking to upgrade their devices.
