The upcoming NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics card has been benchmarked to show an 8% improvement in performance over the original RTX 4070 Ti model. This news comes as reviewers have been conducting tests on the new card, sharing some benchmark results. On average, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is 15% slower compared to the RTX 4080, as it competes with its predecessor and other models in the series.

Notably, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER features an increased memory capacity of 16GB, a 4GB upgrade from the non-SUPER version. While initial 3DMark benchmarks may not fully leverage the increased frame buffer, the benefits of increased bandwidth may already be evident. Larger memory capacity is expected to have an impact on high-resolution gaming with Ultra settings. Various game titles may show different levels of performance increase, with some indicating a double-digit gain. The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is scheduled for launch on January 24, with more comprehensive gaming benchmarks expected to be released in two days upon the release.

The performance difference in the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, non-SUPER, and higher-tier NVIDIA graphics cards is generating significant anticipation among both gamers and tech enthusiasts. Review coverage of specific models is expected to focus on MSRP versions, all running on the new GeForce 551.15 driver. The impact of these variables on the cards is still to be fully understood, especially as gamers are eager to see how the increased memory capacity of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER translates into real-world gaming performance.
