A couple was left disappointed after spending three days at the Sandals Royal Bahamian all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas. They had paid nearly $5,000 for their stay and were expecting a relaxing honeymoon, but instead, they felt harassed by staff and unable to enjoy their time. The couple claimed that workers interrupted their relaxation by trying to sell photo packages and excursions, causing them to feel like they couldn’t have a peaceful, enjoyable vacation.

The woman, known online as Sam Doll, detailed her disappointing honeymoon experience at Sandals Royal Bahamian in a viral TikTok video. She explained that despite paying a substantial amount of money to avoid the hassle of planning or spending more during their vacation, they were constantly harassed by staff to pay for additional services. Sam’s video rant about her experience at the resort garnered over 6 million views in less than a week. Despite her frustrations, she mentioned a positive previous experience at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, but did not receive any response from the company regarding her negative review.

Sam recommended that Sandals encourage tipping and discourage workers from approaching guests repeatedly to sell additional services if they are trying to relax. She also claimed that the resort ignored the privacy sign on their door, and although her video received over 650,000 likes and 20,000 comments, Sandals did not respond to her complaints. Consequently, she said she probably won’t be returning to a Sandals Resort, but regulars have reached out to her with recommendations for other all-inclusive Caribbean vacations.
