The fatal shooting took place on East 57th Street and Linden Boulevard in East Flatbush, with officers responding to reports of gunshots in the area. Scott was shot multiple times by the police and later succumbed to his injuries at Kings County Hospital. The couple who stole Scott’s wallet escaped unharmed, and no charges have been filed against anyone involved in the incident.

The video also depicts the officers yelling at Scott to stay still as he lay on the ground, adding to the tense situation. The officers involved in the shooting were part of the Brooklyn South community response team and were assisting the 67th Precinct at the time of the incident.
