With the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER priced at $899, a $100 premium over NVIDIA’s suggested retail price, and the RTX 4080 SUPER models listed for $1,299 to $1,399, well above the $999 MSRP, many believe that these prices will decrease once the official sale is supposed to commence. This has led many to believe that either ZOTAC or Amazon may have mistakenly priced these cards too high.
It seems that someone at ZOTAC or Amazon may have jumped the gun in making these cards available for sale, without realizing they were priced incorrectly. According to the source, the Trinity Black (non-OC) model of the RTX 4070 SUPER should be reflective of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price and should not be priced as it currently is. With the actual launch of the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER planned for January 24th and the RTX 4080 SUPER not set to go on sale until January 31st, we can expect these prices to be corrected closer to the official launch dates.
Given that these cards aren’t officially set to launch until the end of the month, these early listings may not be indicative of what the final, official prices will be. Despite the initial controversy, many expect that these prices will be adjusted come January 24th and 31st, when the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER are officially set to hit the market.
