Star Health targets NRI market with GIFT partnership.

Published on

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company is set to launch dollar-denominated insurance products from GIFT City for non-resident Indians in the upcoming fiscal year. This move marks Star Health as the first health insurance company to receive registration to establish an International Financial Services Centre office in GIFT City. The company aims to kickstart operations with a branch by the end of the month, providing access to health insurance solutions in US dollars specifically tailored for the global Indian community.

By leveraging the GIFT City facility, Star Health anticipates a substantial expansion of its global outreach and business operations. This strategic initiative will enable the company to cater to the insurance needs of NRIs through a tailored suite of international insurance products. With a focus on the NRI segment, Star Health is poised to enhance its offerings in alignment with the evolving demands of the global Indian community, particularly in the healthcare and insurance sector. Through this endeavor, the company aims to establish itself as a prominent player in the international insurance market with a customer-centric approach.
