Sony is introducing a new line of “Chroma” console covers for the PlayStation 5 Slim in pearl, indigo, and teal. Additionally, DualSense controllers designed to match these covers will also be available.
The Chroma console covers are priced at $64.99 USD, while the DualSense controllers will be available for $79.99. The Chroma pearl and indigo accessories are set to launch on November 7th, followed by the teal version on January 23, 2025. Although these vibrant new colors are quite striking, they present a stark contrast to the current sleek blue, red, or gray options for the PS5 Slim.
Preorders for the covers and controllers from the Chroma collection open on October 3rd. These items will be available in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Sony is also initiating preorders for the 30th Anniversary editions of the PS5 and PS5 Pro on September 26th, which feature colors reminiscent of the original 1995 PlayStation. However, it remains unclear if the retro grey covers will be sold separately.
