The family of missing Missouri student Riley Strain held a press conference in Nashville after enlisting the help of the United Cajun Navy to organize search parties. Riley disappeared on March 8 while on a fraternity trip in Nashville. Surveillance footage captured him stumbling and falling in a parking lot before crossing streets in downtown Nashville, with his last known phone ping near James Robertson Parkway and Gay Street.
Despite ongoing search efforts by the Metro Nashville Police Department’s Urban Search and Rescue team, there has been no indication of foul play or any involvement in a fight or argument. Riley’s bank card was found on the embankment between Gay Street and the Cumberland River, but his whereabouts remain unknown. The police released bodycam footage of an officer interacting with Riley on the night of his disappearance, and the family continues to appeal for information regarding his whereabouts. If anyone has information on Riley Strain’s location, they are urged to call the MNPD at 615-862-8600.
