The Massachusetts State Police are seeking the assistance of the public in the investigation of a fatal shooting on Interstate 95 in Foxborough. Justin Parker, a 37-year-old North Attleborough man, was shot and killed in his black Mercedes-Benz by a person driving a dark-colored car on I-95 south. Authorities are asking for any dashcam or other video footage captured between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. along the I-95 south corridor and the Route 3/I-93 corridor. They believe that the shooter merged onto I-95 South at about 9:20 p.m. and are seeking witnesses or video evidence of any dark-colored cars being driven erratically or at high speeds in the area.
District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey stated that they have some information that may help in identifying distinctive features on the car driven by the shooter. He urged truck drivers, rideshare drivers, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward and contact investigators. Morrissey emphasized that they are not asking people to go through their footage and make determinations, but rather to call so that police can arrange to view the footage. Anyone with relevant video footage is asked to contact investigators at 781-327-9801 to contribute to potentially identifying the shooter responsible for Justin R. Parker’s death.
