Palantir predicts high 2024 profit due to strong AI demand.

Palantir Technologies, a leading data analytics company, is expected to see a profitable year on the heels of strong demand for its artificial intelligence offerings. CEO Alex Karp has called the company’s Artificial Intelligence Program the “future,” and with over 100 deals of over $1 million each in the fourth quarter, the company is poised for significant growth.

While U.S. commercial revenue saw a surge of 70% in the quarter ended Dec. 31, Palantir’s government segment, which contributes over half of the company’s total fourth-quarter revenue, has seen a slower growth rate. This has raised concerns among analysts about the recognition of revenue from government deals, and the company’s current-quarter revenue forecast also fell below estimates.

Nevertheless, Palantir Technologies remains optimistic about its future, with a forecast for 2024 U.S. commercial revenue above $640 million, projecting growth of at least 40%. The company’s focus on innovation and expansion in the AI space is evident, and the recent agreement with the Israeli Defense Ministry is a testament to the company’s commitment to providing cutting-edge technology solutions. With a record quarterly revenue and profit, Palantir is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for its AI offerings.
