Just as Lego enthusiasts make space for their intricate builds, a new set arrives: the X-Mansion. Consisting of 3,093 pieces, assembling it may require more than just patience. Known as Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, or the X-Mansion in various contexts, this iconic structure recently gained attention in the Disney+ Marvel series X-Men ’97. Its significance also spans numerous X-Men comics and live-action films. As a central hub for mutant activities, the mansion often attracts adversaries, a concept well integrated into the Lego Marvel X-Men: The X-Mansion set.
Lego’s announcement describes the set as an "immersive, creative construction project" designed for adult fans. The set includes a buildable Sentinel and 10 familiar minifigures, with five appearing for the first time in a Lego set: Professor X, Gambit, Iceman, and Bishop, along with a new variant of Jean Grey. Additionally, the set includes characters like Wolverine, Magneto, Rogue, Storm, and Cyclops. The set also features "Cerebro, switchable Danger Room items, an exploding cupola, a motorcycle for Wolverine, and graphical nods to the iconic X-Men franchise."
Lego Insiders will have early access to the set on November 1, with general availability starting November 4. Priced at $330, buyers with a Lego Insiders membership will receive the Lego Marvel Cerebro as a bonus if purchased between November 1-7.
