Instagram is reportedly developing a new “Social Library” section in its app, designed to provide easy access to items shared in chat threads, user collections, and liked posts. This information comes from a screenshot shared by developer and leaker Alessandro Paluzzi.
According to Paluzzi’s screenshot, the new section is expected to include posts, Reels, and other media shared or received in chat threads, as well as liked or saved content. A magnifying glass icon in the corner of the screenshot suggests that this content will be searchable, potentially facilitating quicker retrieval of specific Reels or posts.
The timeline for Meta to release this feature to the public remains uncertain, as the company has not responded to requests for comment.
Additionally, Paluzzi has identified another potential Instagram feature that might allow users to share their Instagram comments as posts on Threads.
