The campaign team for Vice President Harris quickly capitalized on the controversy stemming from a crude comedy performance at a rally held by former President Trump at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. By Monday, Harris’s campaign had produced and released an advertisement linking comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s remarks, in which he likened Puerto Rico to a floating garbage patch, to Trump’s approach towards the region.
