GOP Lawmaker Condemns Trump for Dismissing NSA Chief

Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) expressed criticism regarding President Trump’s decision to remove the director of the National Security Agency, suggesting that the dismissal of Gen. Timothy Haugh would negatively impact the nation’s Cyber and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) operations. Bacon described General Tim Haugh as an exceptional leader who was performing excellently at both the Cyber Command and the National Security Agency.
