Bethesda is gearing up for a new update to Fallout 4, just in time to ride the wave of excitement surrounding the release of the Fallout TV show by BezosTech. This update, scheduled for April 25th, brings widescreen and ultra-widescreen support, fixes to the Creation Kit, and various quest updates. A new quest titled “Echoes of the Past” will pit players against the Enclave, with additional workshop items such as Enclave uniforms, weapons, and armor skins.
While this update is not the highly anticipated “next-gen update” promised by Bethesda for Fallout 4, it does include native applications for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with Performance mode and Quality mode settings. Bethesda’s focus seems to be on updating Starfield, leaving mod projects like Project London and Project Arroyo to offer exciting additions to the Fallout universe. As fans eagerly await more news from Bethesda, it remains to be seen if they will channel their resources towards projects like Dishonored 3, which could be a fan favorite.
