Arkansas airport executive killed in shootout with federal agents at home.

The executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, Bryan Malinowski, was shot during a firefight with federal agents who arrived at his home to serve a search warrant. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were involved in the incident, which left Malinowski injured with gunshot wounds. One ATF agent also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound during the exchange.

As Arkansas State Police arrived on the scene, Malinowski was treated by paramedics before being transported to a local hospital. Neighbors expressed shock and curiosity about the incident, reporting loud bangs and seeing guns and ammunition being loaded onto a trailer from Malinowski’s home. The state police Criminal Investigation Division is now leading the investigation into the shooting, while the airport’s public affairs director confirmed Malinowski’s position as the executive director.

The incident has left the community saddened and concerned, with prayers being offered for all involved. Tom Clarke, the deputy executive director, has stepped in as acting executive director while Malinowski recovers. The Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport, previously known as the Little Rock Municipal Airport, continues to operate normally amid the ongoing investigation.
