A new poll from The Washington Post and the University of Maryland indicates that Democratic candidate Angela Alsobrooks is ahead of her Republican opponent, former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, by a significant margin in the state’s closely watched Senate race. The survey reveals that 51 percent of likely voters in Maryland support Alsobrooks, the Prince George’s County executive.
