DOJ to Oversee Voting in Ohio County Over Intimidation Concerns

The Department of Justice (DOJ) disclosed on Tuesday its plans to oversee voting activities in a county located in Northeast Ohio due to concerns about voter intimidation linked to a social media post by a local sheriff regarding migrants. The DOJ will send staff to Portage County, Ohio, to monitor the situation and ensure adherence to federal voting rights laws.
