The Pokemon Go Lunar New Year event has brought some exciting challenges and rewards for trainers to enjoy. Niantic’s special Timed Research challenge requires trainers to complete tasks related to Dragon-types, and in return, they will receive various rewards, including the opportunity to encounter the newest addition, Drampa. The Timed Research challenge is divided into two steps, each with specific tasks such as powering up, spinning PokeStops or Gyms, and catching Dragon-type Pokemon. Completing these tasks will reward players with Stardust, XP, and encounters with various Dragon-type Pokemon. Trainers are reminded that the Timed Research challenges and rewards for the Lunar New Year event will expire on February 11 at 8:00 pm local time, so they must claim them before then.
Tickets for this special Timed Research challenge can be purchased for $2 or the local equivalent, and trainers can also gift tickets to friends who have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. Overall, the event provides a fun and rewarding experience for Pokemon Go players to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
